You can design the Itronix Duo-Touch II with a solid state hard drive or a normal hard drive. You can even connect to the internet via WiFi or track your route with the GPS system. There is also optional Bluetooth capabilities built into the General Dynamic Itronix. There are even built in USB ports to make accessing and saving data a snap.
Along with integrated wireless technologies, including EDGE / GPRS / UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA, EV-DO, 802.11 a/g/n, Class II Bluetooth and GPS, the Duo-Touch II also features unparalleled DynaVue touchscreen display technology that dramatically increases outdoor viewability in all ambient conditions including direct sunlight. The dual touch feature combines an active digitizer with the flexibility of a passive touchscreen, users can easily select dual-touch interface on a single machine. The active digitizer helps to capture the signature accurately and add notes to drawings or maps. And the passive touchscreen mode can be used for simple navigation in Microsoft Windows and other custom applications with user-friendly kiosk-style selection buttons.
The Duo-Touch II, to protect users, information and networks, offers multiple security features that include TPM 1.2 Network Security standard, optional fingerprint scanner, PCMCIA card reader enabled, restricted input/output BIOS (with password or Windows biometrics) and stealth mode (password or Windows biometrics).
There is a 3-year warranty standard. Additional options for enterprise customers include Mobile Help Desk and comprehensive service support levels.
