Extended Battery Warranty - The Extended Battery Warranty helps cover the most critical component for your Toughbook, the battery. The Extended Battery Warranty provides coverage for up to 5 years. Every battery comes standard with a 1 Year warranty. The Extended Battery Warranty allows you an added 4 years of coverage against failed batteries in which the capacity has dropped below 50%. A replacement battery will be shipped to you at no added charge, within the US.
Add an Extended Battery Warranty and a Protection Plus Warranty to your Toughbook order to be sure you're always covered. These warranties will help reduce costs involved in replacing out of warranty items, up to 5 years.

Extended Standard Warranty - The Extended Warranty includes 1 or 2 more years of the Standard Warranty. This means up to 5 years of coverage under the Standard Warranty. Every Toughbook comes with a 3 Year Standard Warranty which covers defects in materials or workmanship that occurred during normal use. Everyday wear and tear is not covered under a warranty. When you plan to hold onto your Toughbook longer than 3 Years the Extended Warranty makes sense.

Protection Plus Warranty - The Protection Plus Warranty betters the Toughbook's standard 3-year warranty with an added layer of protection against accidental damage. The Protection Plus Warranty lowers the expense of repair from accidental damage while also increasing productivity and uptime. All system components, not including consumable parts, are covered by the Protection Plus Warranty. This Warranty will cover 1 major failure per machine, per year for the LCD Display, Keyboard, Motherboard and Hard Drive. If necessary, Panasonic will repair or replace the unit with a machine of equal or greater value.
If your Toughbook is accidentally damaged, simply call Panasonic directly at 1-800-LAPTOPS. Panasonic assess the damage and arranges a repair or a Next Business Day shipment of a replacement part with no charge to you. (Within the US)

Asset Management - Allows administrators to conveniently monitor and manage their fleet of Toughbooks. For organizations to track ownership, configurations, locations, repairs and software updates. Once this information is entered administrators can run reports sorted by criteria.
Customer Branding Badge - For organizations to permanently apply their logo to the outer shell of the Toughbook to provide brand awareness. The branding badge clearly indentifies the owner of the rugged pc, which also reduces the possibility of theft. Minimum order of 125 badges per Toughbook model.
Data Protection - This service gives organizations protection against date loss, deletion capabilities and theft recovery assistance using Compurtace by Absolute Software. The data deletion and removal process meets the US DOD's standard and regulations.
Disk Image Management - Allows organizations to store their gold disk image at Panasonic's National Service Center in NJ. Meaning Toughbooks sent in for repair can be updated with the organization's image.
Express Loaner Service - Express Loaner Service allows the user to obtain a Toughbook from Panasonic before sending in their own Toughbook for repair. Simply remove the Hard Drive from the user's Toughbook and insert it into the loaner Toughbook. This keeps all the user's data with the user.
Hot Swap Management - The user's spare Toughbooks are stored at Panasonic's National Service Center in the user's own inventory. When a Toughbook in use needs service, Panasonic will Next Day ship the user's own spare Toughbooks. The user swaps the Hard Drives and sends back the Toughbook in need of repair, once repaired the Toughbook is put into the user's own inventory.
Online Service Analysis - The administrator can monitor repair history via a password protected website for their entire fleet of Toughbooks. Creating graphs and charts to analysis the service/repair of their fleet. This proactive approach will assure up-time and tracking.
On-Site Service - Panasonic will come to the organization's location to service the user's fleet of Toughbooks. This service is valuable when shipping a Toughbook to a service location is out of the question due to security purposes or important data on the Hard Drive.
